Something For Baby

A "welcome baby" card is great to have on hand.  The buggy is from the Something For Baby stamp set with coordinating framelits. The little rubber duckie looks cute stamped on your envelope.  See the entire set now or on page 74 of the Annual catalog.

Dimensions:

Card base –  Crushed Curry - 11’ x 4 ¼”, scored at 5 ½”.

Scraps of Whisper White: one for buggy wheels with handle and another for carriage.  Small scrap for outside sentiment.

Best Year Ever DSP blue with white dots - 5 ¼” x 3”

Best Year Ever DSP with pinwheels – 5 ¼” x 1”

Inks:

Sahara Sand for buggy wheels and handle

Crushed Curry for buggy carriage and sentiments
5 ½” Coastal Cabana Washi Tape from the Retro Collection on page 190 of the Annual catalog.

My story

I am having the time of my life with my adventure as an Independent Stampin'Up! demonstrator. For seven years I stamped at classes with three wonderful, talented demonstrators. All three demonstrators talked to me about joining their team. Wow, I missed alot of fun waiting for the "right time". I joined Stampin'Up! as a demonstrator in June, 2014. For 45 years I moved where my Dad or husband's work sent us. In all of the great locations I have lived, crafting and art were a large part of my life. Whether it was doll making in Japan, country crafting in Ohio or painting in California, I loved seeing something beautiful come alive from raw materials. I also enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband of 46 years, playing with our dogs, reading, needleworking, traveling and spending time with friends. Stampin'Up! has given me the opportunity to enjoy creating, sharing and teaching - three of my favorite things. And, best of all, crafting with a group of friendly, wonderful people. Contact me at www.stampinpat.stampinup.net if you would like to know more about how you can become a part of my wonderful team.  Or, send an email to stampinpat@Juno.com.

Wetland Geese

Love Stampin' Up!'s Wetlands Stamp Set.  This is the card I made for my first Luv 2 Stamp group meeting to share.

I was so excited to prepare for my first Luv 2 Stamp group meeting that I designed and made 50 of these card fronts with my left hand in a cast.  My wonderful husband helped me with some of the sponged backgrounds.  He also cut out some of the masks I used to cover the bird while adding the grasses.  He never once grumbled that he did not sign up for this job!  Now if I could just convince him to be my webmaster!  Oh well, a girl can not have everything......can she?
